The Bocker range of trailer mounted cranes gives the reach of a 25te mobile crane but the flexibility of a machine weighing only 3.5te. The trailer crane is towed to site by a 4x4, and set up by our experienced operator and ready to work generally in 15 minutes. If required the trailer crane can be moved under it's own power to access even tighter work sites. Our new AHK 31 gives added flexibility with the ability to be configured as a 25 meter access platform in 20 minutes. The crane can also change fly jib angles with 350kg loads and telescope in and out with 350kg on the hook.
With a high level of built in safety measures and robust aluminium construction, the trailer mounted crane can offer a viable alternative to larger, heavier mobile cranes. Ground bearing pressures can be easily reduced to 3.5te per square meter, opening up areas that would not take the 30te per square meter that 25te mobile cranes produce on their standard out rigger mats
There is also the flexibility to work with full or half riggers, allowing roads to be left open to traffic. The AHK 31 offers three positions for each outrigger giving an even more flexible tool. The trailer crane is also less disruptive to your client's site and does not impose high axle loadings onto access roads and other finished areas. If the site is not accessible the AHK 27 can even be lifted into position.
